From what I've been able to dig up, the Cowboy Bebop movie got tanked. There was a lot of chatter about it, aaaaaand then it died.

GitS has a lot of potential, but I can't imagine an American director NOT totally destroying any anime/comic book they touch. I call it the "Brown Midas" theory.

yeah it seems there are a lot of anime live action movies in the works. Reeves is a hot and miss lets hope he is a hot on this. i heard about an Akira moviei think its going be staring leo decaprio or he has something to do with it and then there is the Blood: the last vampire one which could be intresting.

dragon ball movie just looks bad they turned a great show into one of the most crappiest movies ever made, i just wish they never touched it. did you hear about the psp game to that movie ?
